Yes, you read that headline correctly.
Enoteca on Court (which, yes, is on Court Street in Carroll Gardens) offers what I find to be one of the best deals in Brooklyn: A free five-inch pizza with the purchase of any tap beer at their bar.
If you haven’t had one of Enoteca’s wonderful pizzas from their wood-burning oven, you’re missing out.
It’s the old Alligator/Crocodile Lounge free-pizza-with-a-beer idea. Have you been to either of those?
If so, how does this pizza compare with that simple, yet satisfying pie?
Never been to either. But Enoteca’s pizza is at the top of the wood-burning oven pile, in my humble opinion. It’s a very underrated place that has only been open about a year. Locals are becoming more “in the know” and it’s starting to develop a regular crowd for its affordable prices, good quality food and friendly service.
Note: It’s run by the same people that own Marco Polo Ristorante next door.
